You'd be so proud Invictus!

My 130g ghost corn and two others that were born in Aug 03 just ate their second 25g crawler rat, that's the size of an adult mouse. Sorry no pics but it's something to see. I'll get pics next time for sure. Seem like just yesterday they were on fuzzie mice. Eating rats at this age will ensure some monster corns. Any time you can get em on rats under a year of age you can be sure you'll get big corns!
Cheers,
Trevor

Right on! My corns are still getting a double-dose of hopper mouse at each meal, because I find they have less trouble taking them down.... but in total mass it's about the same as a good sized adult. I can't believe how quickly they are growing. Isn't it cool watching them grow up?

Hey, speaking of good sized corns, Walter was over last week with his camera, and I got a picture of me holding my gargantuan freak corn snake by the tail, hanging him down toward the ground, and one of him in front of a 4' terrarium for perpective. I'm getting the photos burned to CD and delivered to the TARAS show, and will post them as soon as I can.

Is this something you've experienced? I've got an Aug '03 as well who is gaining girth fast enough that I had to switch very quickly from one mouse hopper to two, just purchased some rat fuzzies (instead of adult mice) which only a couple of weeks or so ago seemed too large.

My July '03 male volcano has been on and is still on one adult mice per week for like the past 6 months, so I guess he will be fairly big? He is around 200 grams right now.
