How old is he??? what is your setup like, as far as temps go and humidity. Is he hanging out under the spot light with his mouth open???? does he look like he is gasping for breath... is his breathing kind of raspy. If he is young he may be opening his mouth because he is scared. and if he is hanging out under the heat with his mouth open he is probably just hot.. it isn't always a uri.

I dont think its URI personaly.....I have him in the store and hes got a reptileglo2.0 lighting the tank and a 50w basking. I took him on a partial trade with one of my friends, and he was doing it the first 2 days, he said he would do it once in a while and he couldnt figure it out. I thought it was the heat, cause he doesnt seem to be doing it no more (at least not in the last 3-4 days. hes eating and drinking so i dont know mabye he'll be ok....I just hate having sick animals in the store!

Hows your humidity? Like i said in another post URI is often mistaken for a plugged nose.. These guys dont shed properly when not given good humidity, and end up with nostrals full of bad shed forcing them to open their mouths to breathe.
