could this be ovulation...she is huge (pic)

I have never caught anything I have bred ovulating but I think I caught my female blood...I have caught them breeding many times and she hasn't eaten in 4 months and still getting bigger. This is my first attempt at bloods so my fingers are crossed. Anyways and insight or info would be awsome.

Thanks for looking

Im no expert but id say yes. If she hasnt eaten in along time it must be. She is huge in the middle. Congrats.

Unless she just ate a couple basketballs, I'd say YES!

Good luck from here...

Doesn't she look familair Grant...she is doing very good over here. I didn't think ovulation was this obvious with bloods...they are big to begin with, never thought that they could stretch this much. Thanks for the kind words everyone and i will keep you updated

Hey Jamie,
The pictures you posted here, are different than the ones you posted on KS. I would say, Yes! that judging from these photos, that big girl is definately ovulating. Unless, a guinea pig ran into her cage over night without your knowledge. LOL!

Ok well I have been trying to find out how long after ovulation until she will lay?

Angel I took those pics that are on KS last night and then this morning she was even bigger so I took some more photos. I have had high hopes for these guys and hopefully it all pays off...I absolutly love bloods and would love some babies to spoil around here.

Thanks
Jamie

Jamie,

Congrats.....that is ovulation. It'll be 14-20 days until she sheds and then another 30 days until she lays here eggs. Most first clutches of Reds have a high infertility rate......hopefully yours doesn't!

Thanks for the info Corey, that gives me a much better idea of what to expect. I have been praying to the fertility gods so all I can do is wait which is always the hard part.

I would recomend geting her off that green carpet due to the dye it stains the snake but that's my opinion
