Help with corn snake...

My friend recently went on holiday and i offered to look after his young corn snake. He gave me the mice to feed him with, but i didnt realise i was supposed to give him 2 mice on the certain feeding dates, instead i only gave him one.
Today was the second feeding date, and he wont eat the mouse at all... could this be because he is ill from being starved?
I would be greatful if there is anyone who could help me out.

No he is definitly not starved because he didn't eat two mice. Snakes can go weeks to MONTHS without food.

What tempurature are you keeping him at? What type of enclosure? How old is this snake? How big is this snake?

Answer these questions and give us some details and we can better help you.

hey i dont have a corn snake but i dont think that it is because he is starved. i would just wait a day or two and try again, how big is he. hope everything works out with the him

As marisa said, I doubt he is ill from being starved. They can a while without eating.

What type of cage is he in?
How hot is his hot spot and how cool is his cool spot?
How are you measuring temps?

Did your friend move the snake to YOUR place? If so he could be stressed from being in a new place with new people.

How many hides does he have?
Is he in a high traffic area (like a frontroom or entertaining room)?

How big is the snake?
How big is the prey?
How big is the cage?

The snake is 33 inches. not to sure bout age but hes quite young.
The prey is just small dead mice bout 1.5 inches long.

Tank is 30width x 19height x 18depth
He has two hides, one log hollowed into an arch way, and a sheet of bark lent against a branch which he uses for climbing.
Temperature is 30.

He was moved into my place, and my friend used to keep it in his bedroom now its in my living room.

Any other ideas what could be wrong?

Ps. should i leave the mouse in over night? or take it out and put it back in the morning?

Well he is in no danger of starving at this point, for sure. So don't worry about that.

I would leave him be for a week. Maybe even cover 50% of the tank glass with a towel. Allow him time alone to get accustomed to your house.

After a week with no handling or feeding attempts thaw out a frozen mouse with warm water (make sure its totally thawed and quite warm) attempt to feed him late at night. You can either dangle it with tongs or just leave it in the enclosure. You can leave it overnight and check the next morning to see if he has eaten.
