XXX Hardcore Snake Smut!

These two sort of chose eachother. The snow is the female and she was supposed to be paired with our Great Plains Rat, he didn't seem to be into her though so I thought I'd make sure she was really a girl by letting my normal male have a few minutes with her.

A few minutes is all it took. Actually he had his gear hanging out of him before I even set him down in the cage. It didn't take long before they got started. I just love the reflections off the glass below them in these. lol!

And the money shot!lol! When he was done he took off out of sight, leaving a wet spot!

This is my favourite set of pics to show family and my snakeless friends. LOL! And I thought feeding pics grossed people out.

Yeah, I'm curious to see if the normal is het for amel or anery or if I'm lucky both. I have no history on either animal so whatever I hatch out will be a suprise. Should be getting a egg laying shed any day (or minute) now. Then the real torture begins. lol!

Typical Male!

lol, wonderful for people who ask "how do snakes breed?"

Is that another snake in there?

Too bad your great plains rat wouldn't cooperate - he looks huge in comparison to the corns! Congrats on the breeding - always exciting to wait for eggs when you don't know what you might get. Normals are great too - so much variation and they will for sure be het for snow.

Sapphire,

Yes that is another snake in there, as Mary noticed that is the Great Plains Rat. I introduced the third snake reasoning that SOMETHING had to happen if I did that, and well, you can see what happened. lol!

Mary,

I'm thinking about giving them another chance when she's ready to go in the summer. I think it may be due to his chunky condition before brumation that put him off. He was a sloppy 1200 g in November and he's at about 950 g now since I've scaled back his feedings. She was about 450 g in Novemeber so he's just going to be twice her size no matter what shape he's in even though they are nearly identical in length.

I've heard that GPR's tend to mate later in the year than corns generally do, have you ever heard that? If that's the case I may have better luck with him later on.
