Newspaper Article - Destruction of Malagasy Rainforests

For an English assignment, we are writing an opinion peice of any topic of our choice. I, naturally, chose the destruction of the Malagasy rainforests, because I am such a chameleon freak. I think we can all agree that the destruction of the rainforests is wrong, but its finding the hard facts that I am having problems with. Does anyone know where I can find some information of the destruction of the Malagasy rinforests or any similar topical information?
