hey guys
just a quick question
what are some common reasons why a blood would refuse a meal?

Stress, oncoming shed, not hungry, gravid, horny, not being fed the way they are comfortable being fed...

Stress can be caused by external noise (too much handling, bothersome housepets, etc.), improper conditions, sickness, or a recent move.

Hey,
This question was dealt with properly on the above post; but here is one under sickness: the dreaded parasite issue, that is, if it is a recent import or one that was housed with infected cage mates. Improper husbandry, is another one that comes to mind. Even giving different food than the Blood is used to can trigger a hunger strike, until the appropriate food item is presented to it. Mice vs. Rats vs. hamsters vs. gerbils, etc. I think you get the point.
