burn?
I keep my blood in a large breeder tank with an under tank heat pad under half, and a 75watt black bulb on the other side. I keep the tank covered with a wet cloth to keep up the humidity.
I have been using a reptile felt pad as a substrate, but have recently switched to sphagnum moss which she loves. Problem is this, she shed tonight and near the base of her tail, on either side of her belly scales, seems reddish or pink. Seems like a burn.I think when she burrows, she gets right on the damp glass, and it gets too hot. I cleaned out the moss, and put the felt back down and put the moss back on top.
Is there something topical I can put on this affected area? Aloe, neosporin, first aid cream etc.
