spring snake count in saskatchewan
May 7, 8 and 9 we will be gathering in Leader to do the annual spring population density count at 3 densites we have been monitoring for the past 3 years. If you are interested in participating, or planning to attend, let us know by May 1 so we can arrange camping or hotel accommodations for you.
We are expecting good weather and plenty of activity. We just got in from the densites, the snow is gone, things are warming up, but there was no signs of any activity yet

Of course, Katt and Vanan will be here, along with the regular bunch. We have heard from Jordan, he will be back, and Alex will be coming out for the first time. We are planning on renting a bigger hall, so those who want to camp out can do so overnight in case of bad weather. This is a desert, so we dont expect any rain, but it does get cold overnight.

I'll be there with my wife probably for friday night and both full days. Sheila thinking of staying at Leaning tree guest ranch, will it be open? how is it? maybe we'll just stay in the hall, less hassle.
