Black Bloods on a plate anyone!
Hey,
These are some of my juvies, hanging out on a container bottom that they usually hide under. They were both chilling and found in this very cute pose, so I thought that it would be great to have them photographed. I took them to my neighbor next door like this and stood by the window for light, and he shot them as you see; they didn't move and held for the photo session for a while; well more like 6 captures from the digital camera.
This pair of sibs, were produced by Jeff Hartwick, sometime in July of 2003. I procured the pair at separate times and the size difference is pretty amazing when you look at how the female puts it away and grows. But the male, Hercules, is not lagging too far behind.
Anyhow, enough rambling about them; just enjoy the photo.

thats an awesome picture!...I love it...and they are beautiful bloods! I dont know if most bloods are this way but the ones I have experienced are always very mellow when out and will sit in one spot for a long time. I had a professional photographer take pics of my snakes for his photo club and the easiest one to shoot was the blood....the rest were constantly on the move...

Hey Yve,
Thanks for the compliment! These guys are some of the most amazing animals that I have had the privilege to own, and work with. At any rate, they are sure growing fast and I like to photograph them as much as I can. As soon as they are ready to feed though, these little tykes, are feeding machines. LOL! But then again, so are some of my other Bloods and short-tails; they can sure put it away.
Later - Angel

Hey Grant,
Thanks, but I sure could've used that male you had last year for sale; he was a lady killer too. I am in search now, for a male to breed several large females: 4 to be exact, 2 chrome heads and 2 solid black girls. Any thoughts!
