Dart Frog Feeding Question.

Just a quick question for those who know such things.

I am thinking of getting a poison frog (or 2 or 3), i have read that they have large apetites...but just what does this translate to.

Just how many crickets/flies etc would need to be fed at each feed time and just how many times per day would this have to be done?

Thanks

Feed the frogs 15-20 crickets per day, EVERY day. It is especially important with feeding froglets. I feed my baby terribilis around 25-30 daily each... and I am still considering upping the feeders.
Make sure you dust with a good supplement. The best ones are Rep-Cal Calcium with D3 (ultra fine grade) every feeding with herptivite a few times per week. Miner-All is alright..... but watch out for expired containers. Stay away from Fluker supplements, Herpcare, and Zoo-meds reptivite. They are all crap in my opinion.
Check out www.understoryenterprises.com if you are looking for frogs. Mark produces the finest frogs in the country, and his customer service is second to none. He is at all of the reptile Expos in Mississagua, as well as the one in St. Jacobs among others. He can also ship you feeders as well.. and they too are phenomenal. Check his website out.
