before shedding

i was wondering, do chameleons show any signs that they are about to shed before they do it? or is it just one day they're normal, the next they're shedding?
like, snake's eyes turn a glazed-bluish, and i was just wondering if there are any signs or indications that a chameleon is about to shed.

thanks

The dullness may start on the extremities - like the base of the tail and the legs. Or the casque if you have a veiled.
