Outdoor Beardie Enclosure

Built this a couple of days ago. Cost me $250 but I think my beardies should be alot better off in it. The chicken wire is just temporary. I am building a custom top for it with hinges.

I would guess he would leave it out always, he looks like he lives in a desert-type area anyways so why not.

That is awesome, how far down did you put it so they won't dig out?

Again, very nice!

do you just leave them out there all the time or do you just let them roam around in there every once in a while?

Its a permanent fixture outside. I plan on letting them live out there from now on. I have a heating pad out there for them right now cause the nights are still in the upper 50's lower 60's. I am hoping to devise a type of heat sink with some heat tape or larger radiant heat panel so I can leave them out this winter. I live in El Paso so the temps are going to be perfect this summer for them. They actually need some shade it gets so hot here. I just got tired of my beardies not having enough room or natural sunlight so I did something about it. Hoping to see some behaviors you normally don't see with them in a indoor enlcosure. Also I have already noticed a remarkable change in their vigor and color!

If it rains I am really not worried about it. The average rainfall here where I live and in Ausy is probably very similiar. Its just water! LOL! They were made to live outside!
