pet expo i went to

Today I went to the Pet expo in Victoria. I spent all my time at the reptile and spider tables. I got a picture with me and a 10 ft albino burmese python at aleast 80 lbs. I also handled a 8 foot albino burm at 50 lbs and a normal 5 foot burm. I wrangled a snow, grey, amelanistic, and normal corn snakes at once. i also handled a very friendly bird eating spider, an indigo snake, an albinno gopher snake, Jungle carpet python, emperor scorpion, a cockatooo, snery honduran milksnake and a normal ball python. Pretty good for 4 hours and I also got to take over one of the reptile tables while the people at the table did a seminar. I also met the people who did the leopard gecko Telus commmercials and a bunch of other animal commercials.

None for sale but for 5 dollars you can get a picture with a 60-80 lb burm or several other reptiles. They had African Spur thighed tortosises, a very skinny leo, Indigo snake, ball python, 1 5 foot albino burm, 7 foot 50 lb. albino burm that i had on my neck for 30 minutes (sore neck today lol), a few cornsnakes, African Bulllfrog, Very friendly bird eating spider that you can pick up and several tarantulas, two emperor scorpions, Alligator snapping. turtle, Jungle Carpet Python, Amery honduran milksnake, albino gopher snake, bull snake and a few more. They also had birds, lemurs (from a rescue centre), dogs cats, and small animals.

I was there and i loved it. Gary, the guy from Cinemazoo convinced me to hold the bird eating tarantula. Very scary for me. I want another show here just for herps.

Nice... but I think you might have exagerated the weights a little bit... a 7 foot burm at 50 lbs you say? Most 7 foot bloods are around 40lbs... just my opinion though...

I was their from opening at 10 until noon. I watched Gary do his fear factor thing with some of his snakes and bugs from Cinemazoo.

672: as I remember those weights are about the same as what I was told. I think that the exhibitors may have exagerated them a bit. Both burms were really healthy sized animals though.
