Pinkies and Fuzzies as Chameleon food?

Has anyone fed their chameleons (veiled) fuzzies or pinkies?

They should have more nutrition that crickets wouldn't they?

I personally have not feed pinkies although i know people that have. It can be a good rare treet for your larger cham, the thing about then is they are harder to digest and contain alot of proteen so are not good for beeing fed on a regular basis. That is my understanding anyway correct me if im wrong.

i have tried my guys with pinkies. Only one will eat them, and only if it is live. The rest ignored them. My veiled that does eat them only has one, even if two are offered.
I do not know of the nutritional content of pinkies, or if they are something a cham wouldn't encounter and eat in the wild.
But I'll agree with collide, probably just good as an occasional treat.

I've read that you can feed them to chams (or that's what my 3 books say) but they caution you about overdoing it. Personally i'm not going to neo gets plenty of good gutloaded insects.
