Question Another question

My baby Cornsnake ate it's pinkie rump first, instead of the usual head first. Will that harm it in any way? also I have another who appeared to be going to shed. The eyes were a bluish color for 2 to 3 days but they cleared up is that normal during a shed? Thanks

it's fine if he ate it backward. you may want to hang it in the tank by the tail so it can strike and coil from the nose.

all the best,
MIKE

Both my BP and all my corns often eat rump first. Doesn't seem to make a difference. Also, the blue eyes is normal for a shed. They will go blue, clear for a few days & then shed. Expect him to shed any time in the next few days.
