Came across this little guy...
Two years ago on Vancouver Island my wife and I were walking near the Sioux Pot Holes (or somewhere like that) and we came across this little Garter Snake...

That's a peculiar-looking garter snake. Wow. Was it the Sooke Potholes? That's about an hour or so from my house.

Jeff, however you spell it, yes. Well, that's where my wife says we were anyway. It was my first trip to the island.
