Female South Florida King Pic...
Here's a portrait of a favourite king. This girl's about three-and-a half feet in length, very girthy, and feeding up a storm prior to introduction to a large normal yellow Brooksi male...
Thanks for looking.

She's also gorgeous! Got a pic of the male too...?
I've always liked the Floridas.

Thanks, Will!
I agree - Florida Kings are awesome snakes.
I'll post a pic of the male when he's completed his first shed of the year.
Cheers!
Simon

Floridas not only look awesome, they are also awesome to keep. They have nice looks, good size, great feeding response and a generally calm demeanor.
Nice one Simon.

Thanks for the kind comments, everyone!!
I wholeheartedly agree that Florida Kings are really great snakes.
Tim, you're right on the money - I love 'em, and pretty much any
getula
is tops in my book. I also like Cal-Kings very much, particularly nice, banded 50-50's.
Cheers!
Simon

Here's a full-body shot - it's difficult to capture her actual colouration. She's actually more yellowy than shown here using the flash.
On the other hand it sometimes depends upon the ambient lighting under which she's being viewed.

Champ's coming along nicely, Ace!
The head patterns are very interesting in these guys.
Tim, I really like the contrasty banding on your guy. Very nice.

Thanks Simon! Last measurement/weighing he was at 36" and 224 grams. I think he's a late '02, not really sure. I got him at 16" last April, and forgot to ask the breeder .
