Can't say for certain, but the mottling in the pic looks like it could possibly be the start of scale rot. This is a fairly common cause of a pink belly (shedding asides). If it is indeed the case, you need to closely examine your husbandry and correct what caused it in the first place. Typically excessive moisture and/or bacteria are the culprits. It can usually be cleared up with betadine.

so what exactly is betadine?and where can i get it?
the only moisture that i can think of is i mist the cage down prety good once a day, because the cage dosen't hold humidity very well. he also spends 99% of his time on the sticks i have in the cage. i rarely ever see him on the ground. could this have anything to do with the marks?
thanks for any help.

Betadine can be purchased at any pharmacy, and even cheaper at your local co-op. As I said before however, I cannot say for sure from the pic, only speculate a possible cause. If he spends most of his time in the branches he is getting a fairly good amount of airflow under himself rather than sitting in wet substrate so that wouldn't be a probable cause if it is indeed scale rot.
