Unhappy Water dragon, shedding or ill!!?!?! please please please help :(

Hi,

I noticed yesterday morning my 7/8 month old chinese water dragons head has gone a grey colour.. it's only its head, the rest of its body is normal green colour, anyone know what this could mean? Please help.. I can't find anyone that knows. There are a couple of tiny flakes of skin around his mouth also. He's still eating but looks a little miserable.

If you know can you email me at:- StopEatingMyFrog@aol.com

Many many thanks.

Please please please help.

Well it does sound like hes going into a shed. Keep the humidity a little higher then usual and as for the skin on his mouth, use a pair of tweezers and gently remove them.

He's just shedding. Be sure to mist him more often, and keep humidity high. Pretty soon his whole body should be gray and getting cracks and wrinkles. Its not too good to take skin off yourself, you could end up pulling off skin thats not ready, and damaging the scales underneath
