Lightbulb Question about water dragons..and setup

I have a juvenile chinese water dragon..and i am curretnly housing him in a setup which is dangerous for me to go in and get him out..cuz the door is on the front and i would have a risk of him jumping out and brakin his neck on the floor.....What are some ideas for new enlosure..somethin other than fish tank cuz they are so darn expensive..

Never keep a water dragon in a tank they'll rub their nose right off, if not watched. How jumpy is your dragon?? Mine has a front open door as well, I just put my hand in if he starts to puff up and stand up then I just take it back out or just go about my business and stay away from him. There is not really a better way to house them because they like to climb and that. Also just put the cage closer to the ground so if by chance it does jump out then it won't get hurt.

ay i am really good with waterdragons i have my own site on em its small www.freewebs.com/chinesewaterdragon and you can keep a water dragon in a glass tank put up some secenery on the back of the cage so the glass dosent reflect and my dragons can jump 6 feet and hit the ground and there ok. Yes tanks are expensive ask the pet store if they have any used or slightly damaged cages for sale <(^_^)>
