Talking She looks a little plump.

Although she refused her meal she is looking a bit plump. Anybody know how long after copulation ovulation occurs?

Probably nothing but here's hoping!
Thanks for looking,
Trevor

I have no idea what the answer to your question is -- but that is one nice looking girl you've got there

But, I'll take a stab at it just for the hell of it...

I'm probably wrong, and I'm sure that someone will correct me -- but I don't think there's a set "time" after copulation when ovulation occurs -- I think it just happens when the time/conditions are right. I think

You are correct Jen. You win..........er........sorry, just knowing that you were correct is your prize, LOL!

They breed sometimes once and ovulate the next day. They breed sometimes 400 times over 3 months and don't ovulate at all. And, of course, they do everything in between. I've seen it all. Once they're gravid, its unmistakeable. They'll look like they've swallowed 3 large rats. Its crazy. And they lie upside-down, and they seek heat (sort of).

I my honest opinion, I'd have to say that that Rainbow has not ovulated yet in that picture.

Not gravid:

Nice pics Jeff.
What can I attribute the swelling too? She was larger again this morning but has not eaten since last week.
Thanks,
Trevor

Do you think Roy G Biv would be a good name for a male BRB?

Building follicles Chewie. Building follicles. But whether or not she chooses to use those follicles and ovulate, well that's up to her and her environment. I always feed like mad during the breeding/cycling period. That seems to help.
