In loving memory...
Today my beloved pet Iggy passed away. I aquired her when I was only a few years old as a first pet. She survived a struggle with MBD as a baby and recovered to live a full life. She was a member of the family, and has filled all our lives with wonderful memories and experiences. We were expecting this day however, as she started to go rapidly downhill in the past week, and three days ago her toes began twitching. She had a good, long life though. We love her and she will never be forgotten...

Very Sad day in deed Linds. However, you and your family are to be comended for actually making the life long comitment your Iggy deserved. I don't know anyone who has ever kept an Iggy for it's natural life span.
Take care,
Trevor

I'm sorry to hear that Linds...At least you can take comfort in the fact that oyu saved her and gave her many years of life that she would not have had if you had not taken her in.

Oh that sucks It says something though that you were able to care for her for such a long long life! I also have rarely heard of people with iguanas that old. She was certaintly one of the lucky ones.

Oh man. Sorry to hear that Lindsay. That is definately a long time, especially for a captive iguana. I remember when she was much younger. She always seemed to have a docile temperament. Hard to think of you guys without her, she was always around. RIP Iggy!

I'm so sorry to hear that, I'm glad she was with you, one of the few people that could actually take care of and love an iggy for it's life.
