10 bearded dragons stolen

Looks like people are beginning to understand the value of herps, they took the beardies over cash and computer equipment.

What is it with stealing beardies?..........before I started at the store I'm at now, they had a 6 mth old beardie stolen and the last time I was at the Retile Store, one of the guys told me that someone had stolen reptiles from the back room, I think they were beardies too................I dunno, I really wonder about people sometimes.............

EDIT had to correct my spelling. Thats the Reptile Store.....

I used to work at Super Pet in Burlington (no flak for that one needed) and someone stole a female that had luckily just laid her eggs. They knew she was with eggs but got there a day too late. Its a real shame because that girl was awesome and probably one of the best beardies ive ever worked with.

wow i didnt know this was going on anywhere else, but at the shop that i do most of my business with, one of the guys that works there told me that they had had several beardies stolen last week. they were in the back and had just hatched.
he said he was pretty sure it was a guy that they just hired there though, but they dont have any proof yet.

Probably because unlike computer equipment, etc, they are easy to unload, and pretty much impossible to trace.

People seem to love to make reptiles sound vicious i was watching real tv ahwile back and some reporter was handling a big python (not sure what kind it was because it was in black and white) and in the background all you here is " he has to avoide every bite as it could be fetal" LOL be careful of the venomous pythons everyone..

Sorry to hear for your lose hopefully the beardies are ok.
