Thanks!

Pretty much the same as any other King. I keep mine's temps at 74-76 on the cool end, and about 84 on the warm end. (She usually stays on the cool end.) I offer 2 prey of the right size every seven days. (except when the smaller ones don't eat, then she'll get a little extra) .

Exactly what Ace said, and mine too, stays on the cool end, usually curled up in his water bowl, so get one big enough. He eats two full grown mice a week, however I would love to get him on one Medium rat a week but lack of availability and funds right now isn't permitting it.

I guess I have a weirdo! lol My guy has a gradient from 75-90. (90 being the very back) and he utilizes the 90 for two-three days after a meal and is often just sitting on the hot spot.
But yeah like any other king or cornsnake. Care sheets for those common species usually apply to Mexican Black Kingsnakes just fine.

Thanks everyone! I thought maybe their care was the same as other kings, but just wanted to make sure.

I think that our friend "Crimsonking" has a saying about these guys which sums them up best..."bullet-proof" is the term he uses, and it's right on the money, lol!
Mine are kept like my other North American colubrids, at the ambient temp of the herp-room (varies from 78 to 82 F during the day), with no supplemental heating, and they do just fine.
Cheers,
Simon
