Need Help On New Born Crested Geckos

I have a new born crested gecko that hatched about 2 days. He's my first new born and I was wonderring if there's any special care and if there's anything I should do or need to know.

I also have an other baby that should be hatching soon and someone came over and decided to open it up . The person figured that because the other one hatch, that this one needed to also. Now he's in the egg and the top is half ripped. I personnaly think that the baby was better off left alone because I didn't have any problems with my first baby. I would like to know if this baby as a chance or if someone as any suggestions or advices on what to do???

Thanks

Hatchling cresties are pretty hardy, so the only real caution is to make sure they get the right humidity since they can dehydrate faster than adults due to smaller body mass. Other than that, just do the general care for adults, scaled down to size.

You're right about the unhatched one - it would normally be best to leave them be. I've had clutchmates hatch as much as a week apart, the younger ones were just as healthy as the early birds. Now that he's exposed, make sure the humidity stays high so he can't dry out (and stick to the shell, which could be fatal). If possible, leave him be, so he can finish developing and/or absorb the yolk as much as possible.
