Crazy (well, at least here on the left coast)...

Don't get too many storms here so to see clouds and a sunset like this is something. Not quite up to prairie standards, but nice nonetheless...

Very cool pic... storm realted sunrise/sunsets are the best. Just to give an idea what those "prairie standards" are (for those who haven't seen one) here's some sunrise pics I took in '99 from the roof of my house about an hour after a big thunderstorm here in Saskatoon (and no, the colors have NOT been altered... it actually looked like this)

<img width="185" height="276" src="http://image.photoloft.com/opx-bin/OpxFIDISA.dll?s=cano&src=/PhotoLoft/Asset20/2002/09/08/10068/10068055_0_0464.fpx,0,0,1,1,185,276,FFFFFF">

People tell me this one looks like the end of the world *L*

(sorry so small... from back in the day when I had a little hard drive and no digital camera... need to find my original photos again)

gorgeous pics. I found out I am FAR better with a camera outdoors than indoors. I have a pic that I took in the UP of Michigan in 97, I had it blown up to 20x30 and its hanging on my living room wall. I'll have to dig out a smaller print and scan it for ya'll

i miss daily rain...

jeff... you've got to be kidding!!?? are you telling us that you are not used to seeing clouds of all shapes and sizes out on the island!? i used to live in tofino, and, maybe the skies are a little different than in sidney, but i remember seeing some pretty wild skies, rolling in off the ocean, or fron the mountains, just 'bout every day!!! perhaps sidney is in one of those little 'sunbelt' spots, is it? lucky place to be out on the couast, a sunbelt! still get rain every OTHER day, though, eh?!! see ya! oh, i'm sorry! nice pics... everyone!
