funny REAL laws
i found this page, it lists 10 REAL laws that are quite funny...
1. It is illegal to transport a skunk across state lines.
2. It is illegal to taunt someone for refusing to participate in a duel.
3. There is a one-dollar fine for every instance of public drunkenness and/or swearing.
4. It is illegal to require someone to purchase a horror comic book.
5. It is required by law that you make a loud noise when passing a car on the left.
6. It is illegal for a bingo game to last longer than five hours, unless the bingo is being played at a fair.
7. A man may not seduce a woman by lying, and claiming he will marry her.
8. One must not collect seaweed.
9. It is illegal to wear a bulletproof vest while committing a murder.
10. Unless a customer orders it specifically, it's against the law to serve margarine instead of butter at a restaurant.

Um, for number 9, it is illegal to wear a bullet proof vest while commiting a murder. Shouldn't you not be commiting a murder? DUH! That should not be illegal as there should not be murders happening. Screw the law number 1, im gonna go to the states, catch a skunk, and drive from montana to florida with it! NOT. Those are some strange laws!? 5. I've never seen(heard) a person make a loud noise while passing a car on the left. 4. why would you require someone to purchase a horror comic book? Haha, i got served butter when i asked for margarine.

lol well, i think they just make the laws after some one did something stupid and made a big deal out of it so they made the law to try to keep others from doing it, i think so cause in MD theres a law that sais you can't take a lion to the movie theatre, i dont think some one made that up quite out of no where.

Yeah it is illegal to commit suicide. In Toronto its illegal to drag a dead horse up Younge St on a Sunday. That one is just ********. And also in New York City it is illegal to jump of a skyscraper to commit suicide. What is the logic behind that i ask....like anyone is gonna survive if its a skyscraper.

I can see why transporting skunks is illegal. I grew up on PEI. There were no skunks there originally.
Some idiot got the idea that he could descent them and raise stinkless skunks, and sell the fur. That idea didn't pan out so he let them go.
There were no natural predators for them so they multiplied like crazy.
Now there's a coyote problem there. Heh. Guess they all crossed the gulf ice to eat fat skunks
