60 days to go
It will be only 60 days until the rattlers emerge from the densites here. For the past 3 years, we have spotted the first ones on the 18th and 19th of April. Looking forward to the first find of the year, and the upcoming spring count.

Plans are underway for a great weekend of herping. For those of you who have never been to a snake count, you are in for some fun. Remember to bring good walking shoes and clothing suitable for poking about amid cacti - we grow them big here. Also, dont forget your cameras, photo albums and stories to share at the social on Saturday night. Looking forward to seeing some new faces, making new friends, and sharing some great times with those of you who are planning the trip
