I've had that happen with several snakes in the past.
The two i clearly remember was a 2 year old borneo male, and an adult female brongersmai that was looking gravid.
I would describe it as short continuous spasms (usually in a circular motion, within a hide or something with substrate) my observations anyways.
Always stopped when disturbed....
i would compare it to when restless dogs, flip over on there back, and start rubbing there backs on the the surface with there legs up in the air...lol
they snort, wiggle, twitch, etc...
I have no clue why it is done, perhaps something to do with the cooler weather and breeding....
All i can say is that it is somewhat normal, and isn't cause for alarm.
