Question Rack?

hey i was wondering if any one out there had plans or anything for a rack system. 9even advice on heating and such)

and to heat it you will want to use heat tape. the size of your rack will depend on where you put it and the size. if you are going to put the heat tape down the back then use 11 in. heat tape. but if you are going to run it under the bins then you can use 3 or 4 in heat tape. here is a really good guide to wiring heat tape although i dont do it that way. http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/showt...=&postid=39153
when i wire heat tape i just get an extension cord cut off the feamle end and put on those crimp on round eyelets. i then put a screw threw them, then through the heat tape and into the melamine of my rack. then i coat that in hot clue and cover that in electrical tape. No matter how you wire your heat tape you are going to need to control the temps. you can either do that with a thermostat or rheostat. here is a good guide to making a rheostat. http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/showt...&threadid=8858
