Country:
Hogs are not as small as most care sheets and the like make them out to be. Some can be small, but larger specimens are not uncommon.
Big Matt is correct, the Mexican Dwarf locality of BCI is the smallest at around 3.5' I think.
A lot of the CA boas such as Cay Calker, Crawl Cay, etc. reach lengths of 4-5 feet.

6.5', 15+ lb female Hog Isle...

It depends on what line of Hogs you get. I've seen an adult Sears line female with an adult non Sears line female next to it and the difference is quite amazing.

I just received the April issue of Reptiles Magazine and the feature article is called "Mini Boas." It's great, talks a lot about the dwarf forms of BCI and their natrual history, as well as their husbandry.
Cheers,
Trevor

Trevor,
That was a great article. The author told me that Reptiles edited a lot of the info. The original article was over 5000 words. He also said that they only allowed pics from a 35 mm camera. He told me that the unedited article will be in Fauna magazine next month I beleive. It will also have many more pics that he took with his digital camera.

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up. Too bad they didn't say anything about San Andres Boas.
Cheers,
