uh oh... now I've gone and done it...
Check out what followed me home from Jeff's house last weekend... I never thought it would happen, but I'm now the proud herp mom of my first colubrid! LOL... And not only did I come home with ONE... I came home with TWO I just couldn't resist these two little beauties! They're definitely going to take some getting used to though... lol... goddamn but they're fast!! I have new respect for people who's posted pics of these things... lol.. can't count how many blurry/no-snake-left pics I ended up with. Hehe... Maybe I'll get the hang of it eventually And they only almost got away a couple of times so far.. lol... chased one around my kitchen counter for a few minutes That was fun...
Anyways, here they are!! 1.0.1 Tangerine Hondurans... 100% het spotted, 50% het hypo!
First, here's the male... Merrick Can't seem to make up his mind whether to be a spaz or a sweetheart... lol... he's the one I chased around the kitchen... and then I fell in love a few minutes later when he wrapped himself around my finger and stayed there for 5 minutes. LOL...
And, here's the 0.0.1, Jem Fingers are crossed for a female... I LOVE this little girl!! Her colour is awesome, and her sides are just too cool She's insanely spastic though. LOL... No indecision as to whether to be crazy for this girl She KNOWS she is. LOL...
And check out her sides!
Ok, that's it, I promise. LOL... I apologize to any dialup users out there
And once again, a HUGE thank you to Jeff -- you rock man!!! Thanks for these guys, I love them already!
Jen

Bowels, Bowels, Bowels.. Not only did you go and buy the snakes that i was interested in, but you went and posted so many pics of them just to rub salt in the wound.. They're both real beauties though.. So i guess i can find it in me to congratulate you.. Or not..

Glad to see another one converted to hondos - they are wonderful snakes - they really do outgrow the insanity of youth and you have a wonderful pair. Congrats,
mary v.

Jen, those pictures are soooooo clear...what type of cam are you using?
Handle those hondos frequently and they will calm down, nothing more impressive then a 5-6 foot honduran.
Congrats
Marc

Sweet Hondos! I like the "vanishing" bands on the 0.0.1!
Good luck with them.
Nice pics too!

LOL Matt -- why thank you, you're too kind
Mary, thanks And I'm glad to hear that they'll likely outgrow the insanity! Lol...
Marc, I'm using a Sony Cybershot (DSC-50) It's about 4 years old now (they don't even make that model anymore actually), but it was top of the line when I got it, and it still does the job Takes good macro shots, which was my primary concern when I was looking for a camera... next time I think I'll likely go with a Canon though, I've liked what I've seen/heard about them
Joe, thanks!!
And Tim... me too! LOL...
Thanks for the kind words all! I'm happy to report that both of the new additions ate for me on the first try Jem took one fuzzy, and Merrick took 2... going to give them another try tomorrow and see how it goes!

Jen, I heard you're thinking of coming to the show this month? How about bringing the snakes along? I'd love to see them in person It's okay, I just want to see them, not snake-nap them, honest. For true.
(he heeeee)

LMAO Hilde! Uh huh I think I'll leave them at home, thanks And I'm not just THINKING of coming... I AM coming! Ticket's booked, got myself a place to stay, and plans are starting to shape up... I'm super excited!! I can't believe it's only like a week and a half until I leave... holy crap! LOL...
Thanks Sean! I've only had them for a week, but I get the feeling that I'm going to end up with a few more than just 2 of these guys

Great looking Hondos Jen!! I have a male that I did a "photo shoot" with. I lost him in my sofa for a week and a half, when I decided to check out the pics I took! LOL Doesn't take these guys long to disappear when they want too!! LOL
