RIP Little Turtle
All of a sudden, last night my turtle seemed very sick. I was going to make a vet appointment today. Unfortunately, he passed away over night. He is my first pet to die and I am very upset about it.
RIP little guy. I love you!

I am so sorry!!!
Hello Danielle, I hope that you are feeling a little better now, but I know how hard it is to lose a pet. I am really sorry about your little Flubby passing away the way that she did, but I hope that your heart will not close to all Chelonians. I will talk to you soon, and you are in my thoughts.
Take care, Johnny.

That's some really sad news. I know how much you were getting into your new pet chelonian. Turtles are the darndest things. A lot of the times they will hide their failing health until its too late. But, like Johnny said, I hope this doesn't change your feelings about turtles and tortoises. A healthy speciman is a source of countless hours of enjoyment for many, many years.
my thoughts are with you and your turtle...

Thanks for your condolences everyone. I am still upset but feeling a bit better today. I would like to get another chelonian at some point in the future. I am just going to wait a bit. Thanks again.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.
You were so happy when you first got it
and now it's gone.
I am really sorry but I think we all past
through that moment but that only make us stronger.
Don't give up your love for turtle or tortoises.

Was that an ornate wood turtle? From the picture it looks like one I lost not too long ago, which was also my first herp loss. I am still sad about him too. He just pulled into his shell one day and never came out. It seemed like a heart attack or something because it was so sudden. Anyway, I am also sorry for your loss. I know it hurts.

Yeah she/he was an ornate wood. I only had him for a month. That's interesting that you had a similar experience. Thanks everyone.
