What are my odds?
This is one market I have NEVER come close to keeping up with so I have no idea what to expect. What are my chances of finding an adult pair of W. Hognose at the February 22nd expo? I've never paid any attention to them in the past, so I cannot even remember what the availability is like for these guys at the shows
P.s.- For the record (because I am sure someone will bring up the fact that I think they are oogly little snakes), although I intend on buying myself a pair for my birthday, I still think they have the ugliest little faces in the herp world

If you think they are so ugly why are you getting them? I just had to ask. I'm sorry if I offended you!
I just got one and I think he is the cutest, lol. He looks (and "acts") VERY snobby though, lol

More and more they remind me of little rattlesnakes, and since I will never own one, this is the next best thing They have the ugliest little faces with those little pointy pushed-up noses. It doesn't look that bad from the top, but from the front and sides there is nothing pretty about it...lol It isn't all about beauty though... I have a lot of ugly and/or cute critters here....lol

Hognoses usually sell quickly, so this is not the best time of year to find babies. It's impossible to predict when adults will be available, if at all.

Actually, I already found an adult pair It was looking grim for a while, and I was thinking the show was going to be my next best bet at finding any, but looks like I don't have to worry about it now!

Congrats on finding yourself a pair Linds, that's great!! Be sure to post pics of the little cuties (and YES, they're cute... lol) when you get them!! I don't see how you can say they have ugly faces, they honestly remind me of a little puppy dog or something... lol...

I agree. I can't wait till mine gets big enough to eat rats. I forgot they were so small and ate pink mice! Can they stretch their jaws like a bp or corn? I fed it a pink and it left NO lump. is it ok to feed them enough to leave a lump?
