Hey what kinda lube should I use to probe an animal?

The official company line:
KY , Astroglide or any water based personal lube.
(no vaseline)

Personally,in actual practice:
I just use spit! It's always handy!

Vaseline is petroleum based which may be harmful to reptiles. I believe it also has some spermicidal qualities though I'm not certain. Worst of all though, the stuff is difficult to wash off.

KY Jelly works well And it should be available at most drug stores (we picked some up at Walmart the other day even)...
