possible burn!!!

ahh, weird discolouration on my beardie's nose. right at the very tip, it would be the closest piece of his body to the light. I'm scared, it would be the first real malady of any of my reptiles ever. How can i accurately diagnose it as a burn, i suppose it could be just discolouration because he is about to shed, but i don't think so. my basking spot is only reading 120 though, that shouldn't be causing any burns....

what do you think, i took some pics, i'll get them up tonight.

I could let you know more accurately with a picture. Soon as you get that up I will be able to help you. If it is, apply polysporin. If the bearded dragon cannot directly touch the bulb, then I doubt it is infact a burn. It might be from rubbing his nose, being in shed as you suggested.
