A new Male Boa and his new home

Well it has been a busy week. I picked up this guy on Sunday, dealt with a death on the family, and built the boa's new enclosure. TGIF, definitely don't need another week like this.

and his new home

Thanks for looking, more pics in the gallery.

Jim

Hope your week improves and that you have some time to relax and enjoy having this new guy. Gorgeous boa - very nice thin saddles - a look I really like. Great cage too,

best wishes,

mary v.

Awesome boa, amazing cages too! How big is he? Looks about 5 -6 feet maybe?

Nice cage, Jim. Did you build it?

Good luck with the boa!

Thanks Mary and Ken, things are starting to calm down now.

Mousekilla, no true weights and measure yet, but about 4' right now
and Tim, Yeah I seem to have a knack of whipping Melamine into shape

He is very friendly, once you get him out of his enclosure. First comes the mandatory hiss, then he settles right down as if to say "Ok I have voiced my opinion, now pet me, damn it"

Very nice! Kinda like a reduced pattern. Very unique looking.
Cheers,

LOL!!! My 7 foot male boa is just like that. He's very vocal, then 2 minutes later he's a big baby.
