lighting for plants

I've got a viv housing nocturnal geckos, its planted with pothos and snake plant (mother in law tongue). But i don't think my plants are getting enough or the right light. since the gex are nocturnal i'm not using UVB, I have a "SunGlo" aquarium light on it. any other suggestions?

anyhting bright, they dont really need any special lights...just like LOTS. they will grow great under normal cool white bulbs. the cheaper flouro's. can tire has some ready to plug in 18" fixtures that come with a daylight bulb for $8, they are GREAT! being the smart cookies they are, a 18" daylight tube on its own is $10...here anyway.
