It is a reasonable price, however I am sure it is WC.

Hey Meow.
Like theGino said, check if it is WC. The Kammers, who tend to have resonable prices, have theirs at $300.00.

Petstores will do anything to sell you him. I would ask if youc an take himt o a vet to do a fecal float, if it has parasites then it is most likely wc. Or just check around for parasites etc. But they definitlky shouldn't lie about it. Most Fischers are wc. Sometimes they are cb, but not usually.

Not necessarily. And it is never good to generalize! The pet store I work at definitely does not say / do anything to make a sale. The health of the animal comes first!

VV

I highly doubt they would let you take him to a vet before buying, however, most petstores offer a 15 day health gaurentee with any reptile purchase. I also find that the majority of petstore do tell the truth about the animals; just they dont keep them properly. If they dont know, they will usually say they dont know.

Like I said, MOST petstores will do anything to sell. But by any means not all. I know the odd petstore that cares for chams properly. But in all fairness, I beleive I have the right to generalize. Petstores inc the chams world have given themselves a bad name for many reasons. And I have had many petstore employee's directly lie to me and many people I know. I have heard too many bad cases from pet stores. Soem petstores if they know you fairly well, and if you compromise, you can take to a vet. But yes, most stores have a gaurantee.

Am I missing a 'most' in there? Or am I going blind or something? Also you can generalize all you want, I was just saying not all petstores are like that. I agree though, the vast majority are.
