Where to find rubbermaids
I need 13X8X5" rubbermaids and can not find them ANYWHERE! Any suggestions?

I don't know if they'll have those one specifically but Canadian Tire seems to be Rubbermaid central lately. A quarter of the store here in St. Thomas seems to be dedicated to storage containers. Cheap too  I picked up a few for 5.98 each.

Walmart here didn't have anything really. Best I've found was target, but still not the size I need.

I got a 92qt Rubbermaid (Quick Latch, I think) for $6.00...
Toss in 9.99 for a under cabinet fluorescent, $4.00 for hardware...and $20 makes a cage Cain can live in for the rest of his life...(you can get newspaper at just about any restaurant!
Sure beats the heck out of spending a fortune on a "custom"...although I may build one one day....just to see if I can!

I tried Wal-mart, Home Depot, and Canadian Tire but didn't really find what I wanted to house a BP.
In the picture attached, the container on top was the best I could do.
But at Zehr's tonight, while getting groceries I noticed a stack of 32" x 13" (base) by 6" high boxes. (pictured, bottom)
Would a young BP fit in there comfortably?
There's a nice big metal dog dish so they can submerge themselves if they want, and a couple of hides.
Once spring comes the garters will be vacating the 75 gallon tank, so i was thinking of placing a divider in there as well and turning it into a duplex

That EXACT container on the bottom is what I bought for my BRB.
It does NOT latch securely.
My snake escaped from it, and she's only 2.5ft and 200grams.
So be cautious k.
What I've done is put 4 x 2.5lb weights on each side/end of the lid. No probs since. I know I'll have to increase the weight as she gets bigger.
But its a good container, except for the lack of security in the lid.

I found a holiday bin from a company called "Iris" that is 4ft.
Do not put a divider in as illnesses can still get around the divider. Either rubbermaid will work for a young bp. Do not use a metal dog dish, over time hard crystals (can't remember that they are called) will form on it no matter how much you clean it.
You may want a little bit more height, mine is about 1.5ft high and my male bp uses every inch of it.
Edit:
Birchaddict, is that a sterelite container you got? I was going to go with sterelite but I found that their lids just seem to fall right off!

I was considering making shelves that will let me put the rubbermaids in without covers, then having a vertical pin snap into place that keeps them from being removed. then I could lock it to keep the snakes from accidentally pushing the box off the shelf (low risk) or having my devious stepson get into them and accidentally kill them or something (high risk).
