HELP: how do u shrink ur picture size?
Hey everyone,
i was trying to post a pic and it sayed that the file size was to big i was using my web cam ( its intel snapshot) is there anyway for me to shrink the picture so i can post it?

Go to image, then resize. It should be proportional, but if not, use a calculator

a couple of things. a webcam picture should not be too big to post here. I imagine you are trying to ATTACH it. Go to the How-To Forum and ckeck out the post on uploading to the gallery and the one on posting pictures from the gallery.
If you do need to resize your pictures you can use PAINT its on every windows based computer under accessories. open your picture in paint then select image>stretch/skew. just change the horizontal/vertical percentage to something less than 100 until you get the size you want(make sure they are both the same as not to distorte the image). click ok then save as a new name

ahh ok never mind i figured it out but when i go to open and then to galleries and then main gallery( which is were my pic is stored) the screen is blank??:S

Click on File ~> Open and then just look through there for you picture..

If the window where you're pics are stored is blank, you may need to go down to the bottom of that window where it says Files of Type and choose All from the drop down box.
