sexing my beardie

ok its really weird my beardie somtimes looks like he has little bulges and then it will look liek indents where the testes should be. its kinda confusing. he is about 6 months old and all the pictures i see show huge unmistakable bulges but his/hers are not.

he is going to shed soon does that sometimes affect the way u see the bulges?

It is easiest to tell what sex your dragon is when it is around 12 inches in total length or bigger... not sure how big your dragon is.

If it is indeed a male, you will see prominent pores near the vent and they will also be in a line on the back legs.

yea i noticed soem pores. near the vent. im pretty sure its a male. he just needs testes to grow because there is spots where tehy shoudl be.

both males and females have pores present, its the size that determines sex.

my digital camerea sucks as far as close up pics. so no pics. today he had little bulges though.and it has fairly large pores. so im pretty sure its a male. after this shed i should be able to tell forsure.
