stupid thermometer isn't working?
i have it set on outdoor with the probe to get the hot side of my boas cage.. but all it reads is LLL why is this? had it happen before but it turned to the temp soon after, this seems to be stuck....
I bought it at Home Depot.. can't find the directions...
Anyhelp is appreciated./

I had a Temp gun and it did the same thing, couldn't fix it. I tried everything, so i took it back, got a new one. Now it works good. Yours might be defected like mine was.

if you dont have a reciept, buy the same one from home depot.
replace the broken one in the package, return it a couple days later and get your money back.
its amazing how easily they take things back without even checking in the box....(however, i always recommend having it in the box)

Mine said LLL when my cat got to the cord.....Check if the cord is ripped.

Thanks guys, I think I'll do the return thing shhhhhhhh I changed the batteries and checked the cord, nothing. it will read for 3 seconds than go back to LLL.

gfisher, that is what I meant. But a new one. keep that receipt and return the broken one. I can find the same one, so I should have no problems!!
