My extended (furry) family. (lots of pitures, carefull)
Well here are some pictures from my volunteer job, I work at an exotic wildlife sanctuary, we take in unwanted, abused, and negleacted exotic, and none exotic "pets" and animals.
This is Sabra, she was about 7 months old in this picture, now she's about 2 years. She was dontated when she was about three months old by a woman who bought her as a X-mas present for her four year old daughter.
This is Foxxy Lady, she was also someones pet who didn't have the time or money to care for her anymore. We also got Foxxy's mate Radar.
One of our ringtailed lemurs who has since passed away, Louise, and her two babies, who have since grown up, Spazmo and Gizmo.
Our gorgeous golden tabby tiger, Shammi, one of approx. 40 in the world. She came from a breeder/trainer in Texas who wanted to "thin his collection".
Taz the cougar, he was the first big cat to come to our sanctuary. He has also passed away, but even though he wasn't very friendly, all the volunteers loved him and miss him.
I will get some more photos scanned in and post them later. I hope you all enjoy these

Thanks guys, working out there is truly the light in my life. Tabby tigers are just like white tigers, a color mutation on the regular bengal tiger. There aren't any tabby tigers in the wild, the last one was shot in the 30s I believe. And as I tell anyone, it is disturbingly easy to buy big cats, at auctions or on line. I've seem siberian tigers for sale for less then an albino ball python.

Such beautiful animals, it's nice to see that they are being well cared for now. Yeah Aidan, my thoughts exactly, what sort of dumb @ss buys a tiger cub for their toddler? That tabby tiger is amazing, I had no idea that they were that rare?

What kind of wacko buys a Tiger as a pet? Look what happened to that magician... and he was working with them for years.

That Golden Tabby Tiger is absolutey beautiful. I've never seen one before.
Yeesh... absolutely frightening to hear that someone was stupid enough to buy a tiger for their kid. Even when they are only a couple months old they are incredibly strong. I know when we do shows if a kid even flinches the cats want to get rowdy and play with them.
