Thanks for looking

Thanks for the kind words from everyone!
Roy there is a good chance that this is one of your offspring, or bloodline! When is the last time you bred this species? I would like to eventually get an unrelated pair, how many pairs of conicus do you have? And just curious if this species probs the same as KSB?
Thanks

Hi Kristen
I produced 2 litters in 03....It looks like my second litter.
How many pairs?....Um, I have about a dozen or so , I've lost track... Plus I kept back a pair from that litter, as it was her first...
They can be quite variable in coloration
I have black and white ones, and also some nice gold ones...
then some in between. Here's a pic of my two most extremes
Oddly enough the black and white one, fathered the gold one.

I never probe sandboas...Female conicus have almost No tail, it's really short, and males evert and have claws...Get Mr. Ank to pop it for you.. I think it's a male. Look closely and see if it has widdle claws!
...One tip... these guys need to be hot to have an appetite..(85-90F)

Thanks for the tip! Grant already mentioned that they need to be warmer! That was a dumb comment on my behave about probing cause I know that the males have claws. Thanks for the help!

that wasn't a dumb question. in some snakes its not always easy to tell sex by the claws, ie ball pythons. Tail lenght is the best way for conicus, though I think females are 2-3 males are 9-10ish(?)
