Wood plants for a Bp

What is the best thing to put in a Bp's habitat as like wood or plants...i know not cedar ...and other like that but is umm dog wood....or oak or maple or other tree limbs ok...what else can i use if he wants to climb?

Just for the record, these things are not mandatory. There are several climing and decorative projects available for retail in pet stores, any type of branch really. Or, of course, you could collect your own driftwood. With this, however, you will have to clean it thoroughly. You will want to avoid harmful woods such as cedar and pine.

dog wood, maple and oak are fine, oak i think looks exceptionaly good.

Dont know where you are but here it is illegal to cut dog wood and garry oak.

I have some branches for my BP and Texas Rat Snake, How would you clean them. I was gonna soak in 1-10 solution bleach -water then rinse well, dry then rinse again, then dry for a couple of days. Would that be ok?

if they are from the tree (live/fresh) i just rinse em. If they are teh things that have been kicking around on the ground for a while i just scorch em in HOT water and leave them over night, next day rinse. I stopped using chems altogether, i dont find there is any need.

right
