My GP Rat for Mary v.

So Mary v. was asking for pics of GP rats to confirm that she has one. It was a while ago and it may be entirely useless now but I promised a pic and here it is.

I was hoping when I saw that you had posted a few pics that you had not forgotten about getting a shot of this guy. Very similar to ours - looks a bit more brown in the saddle color. I will be very interested in what you get from breedings this year. We have our fingers crossed on ours.

thanks for the photos,

mary v.

Nope, didn't forget you, just had to go to a friends place to dump the pics off my camera (my computer is a dinosaur, no USB port).
Like we had discussed before we're gonna mate him up with our female snow. We acquired the snow primarily because we knew (through your advice as I recall) the amel gene in it would give us some het for creamsicles plus a couple of other morphs. If I think I can get a second clutch from her she'll be mated with our normal male corn to get us a couple more morphs in our little colony. Our only concern with this boy is that I may have spoiled him a bit in the food department. He's an excellent eater and has become a little chubby. We hope he won't be too large for lovin' but this is our first time breeding so we're nervous about everything. Six more weeks in the cold room and we'll find out if he likes girls as much as he likes food.lol
