hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone knows any good degu suppliers in america. I've been searching online for a while now and they're even harder to find than reptiles! All the private breeders dont want to ship. And the pet store near me said they can order some for me but they'd cost me 30$ each and i'm looking for some around 10$ ne help would be appreciated. *sigh* america really needs to be as interested in exotics as canada

$30 US is quite pricey I agree. Have you tried talking to other shops? Have you posted on US based rodent forums? There are a lot of pet rodent forums that could probably direct you in the right direction...

I tried looking for forums and i'm currently in one but it's based in the UK. I'm gonna keep looking. I might just use the 60$ for 2 degus neway cause my grandpa gave me 500$ for xmas.. i'm not allowed to use it all (save some for college) but its still a great great paycheck. building the cage in a few days
