shedding

well my boa shed yesterday and alittle of old skin stayed. i took off most of it but theres just a little bit left right in front of his eye ( not on his eye in front) and he kind won't let me get it off of him so i was just wondering if it would fall off on it's own?. it's very little just enought to cover 1 scale is that going to be a problem?

Should be no problem. If your worried about hurting the boa, then I would recommend waiting for the next shed. You can try a few tricks to loosen the skin if ya wish (bathing, moist hide, etc) but also will not do any harm if you waited it out.

If you are worried about it, put a damp towel in a rubbermaid or big enough tub, then put the snake in and put the lid on it.

Let him crawl around through the towel for awhile and it will prob be off him when you take him out.
